I bought 2 of these to replace leaky Magnaflow mufflers on a 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII. This is a v8 car with dual exhaust already so i thought adding resonators wouldn't make it all that much louder then a leaking exhaust already was. Well, I was wrong. The car has a very nice growl at startup and idle. It sounds very good accelerating with about 30% throttle between 3 and 5k rpms. Although I love the nice v8 howl coming out 300hp engine, I cannot stand the drone around 2k rpms. It occurs around 1850 and 2100 rpms and can be obnoxious. This is mainly because I have only catalytic converters and these 2 resonators. These would be great if included with some sort of muffler system. They have a great sound but please only use them with mufflers also unless you like a loud exhaust.

Installed this on an 05 3g TL and it makes the exhaust note similar to a g35's growl. The growl only happens in the 2.5k and upwards range but during normal city driving or at low rpms, there is no sound. Installation was about $50 at a local exhaust shop.
