Put this on my '05 F150 5.4L ... sounds great.
Came down to a Flowmaster 40 or Magnaflow and definately glad I went Magnaflow.
Flowmaster 40 has a nice sound ... but for a sportier (FX4) package, it has too much of an "old truck" sound. Great sound, just doesn't fit the new model F150's.
Magnaflow has a great, deep and hollow sound. Feel a little bit more in the pedal and very low tone, especially with the F150 insulated cabs, at highway speeds. But if you get on it, they'll know you're coming.
Overall great muffler ... would like it a bit louder (but I'm comparing to the Magnaflow on a friends Dodge 2500 Hemi)
Amazing sound and performance August 28, 2009

I love this muffler. When crusing on the highway its almost just as quiet as stock, no loud drone or anything like that. When you step on the gas hard and accelerate you can feel the difference and the sound it makes its just amazing.
