UFFF THAT'S WHAT I NEED September 5, 2010 DnKiKe Really i think for the pictures that this one could be larger, but i'm very impressed with it's size and it's capabilities. This is what every rider must have in the bag.
Good little pump August 7, 2010 R. Bowman (missoula, mt United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Disclaimer: I haven't used this product to make a roadside tire repair. That's one of those experiences you'd rather not have. The selection of electrical adapters made it easy to permanently wire a pigtail into the DR650, while the alligator clips are file for the Sportster's more accessible 12 VDC. The air hose was easily attached to the valve stems on both bikes. The entire unit is very compact and easily fits into either saddlebag. If I ever do need it, I'm sure it will be much easier than either the MTB pump I carry on the DR or the CO2 inflater on the other bike. It's worthwhile to note that the product had an excellent review in Motorcycle Consumer News. Unlike many magazines, MCN does not accept advertising and features real reviews by real people, not puff pieces.
Excellent product! July 23, 2010 Crypt 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ride an 2006 Harley springer and about a month ago I had a flat tire in the mountains 150 miles from home. I sat and watched Harley rider after Harley rider pass me without even hardly acknowledging that I even existed, not a one of them stopped. A couple of cages stopped and asked my wife and I if we needed help but nobody had an air compressor. After about 2 hours had passed a guy on a VTX (Honda) heading the opposite direction saw us as he went by, went down about a mile to a turn around, turned around and came back. He had the Slime air compressor and saved our day with it! I came to amazon and bought one online as soon as I got home that day!
What a cool little product (little as in small not its ability!) It fits perfectly in a saddle bag and has enough oomph to pump up a 200m rear tire in just a couple of minutes!
I'd recommend this product to anyone who rides a motorcycle, if there is one tool you put on your bike make it this one, who knows you could save someones day and have your dinner paid for at the next town like our friend on the VTX did.
Thanks Slime and Amazon, you guys rock!
versatile and inexpensive contraption June 19, 2010 P. Karpenko (CA USA) Like others said, the inflator is loud and vibrates like there is no tomorrow, but it is supposed to be used on the road in situations that do not happen too often; compressors and inflators more suited for daily use are out there. I carry this one on motorcycle excursions and I only had to use it two times. Both times it'd got the job done. I might say that the thing serves me well. I also want to say that form what I see, designers hadn't cut too many corners. The hose is replaceable; the nozzle on the hose looks cheap but works surprisingly well and does not leak air when I put it on and off the valve, like did the nozzles on Craftsman inflators that I had.
I especially like the use of SAE power connectors everywhere. I'd simply replaced the included cigarette lighter/SAE adapter with a Powerlet/SAE one that plugs into the Powerlet socket on my motorcycle. Some thought had obviously been given to the length of the power cord -- it is neither too long, nor too short, just the right length for virtually any motorcycle.

Works, does what it's suppose to March 28, 2010 Sean Matthews (Portland, OR) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The product worked fine for me. However, if your going to be filling multiple tires on a car, you need to let the compressor cool down before each tire, it gets hot enough to burn you at the base of the hose, where it connects to the compressor. Other than that, love the compact size, and attachment options. I would suggest this product.
